Tobacco-Free Lavender Communities Contracts with Color CoordiNATION to Develop Conference

Color CoordiNATION began its life as a wellness and community building conference in the summer of 2007.  Tobacco-Free Lavender Communities of MN (TLC) has extended a contract to the organization to produce a second conference, continuing to focus on health and wellness and specifically feature tobacco as a serious health concern and social justice issue facing LGBT communities.

This $7,500 contract secures TLC as lead sponsor and will allow approximately 200 community members to participate.  If you are interested in helping with the planning, please contact us at:

Power to the People

Thank You June Pride Partners

The summer has been successful for Color CoordiNATION.  Thanks to Pi Bar and Restaurant and the generosity of the Smitten Kitten, the Dildo Bingo fundraiser raised over $3,000 for the Power to the People Tent. Pi also hosted Soul Night in partnership with Color CoordiNATION.

We collected over 350 health surveys, exploring the health status of LGBT Communities of Color. We also gave away over 350 free Color CoordiNATION t-shirts. And of course, we connected over 3,000 people at our partnered events.

Thank you to RARE Productions for the great performances!
